About the Role
As part of the districts special education team, the SLPA will deliver direct and indirect therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Youll help students enhance their communication, language, and social interaction skills in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language therapy sessions under SLP supervision.

Implement treatment plans and individualized education program (IEP) goals.

Maintain detailed progress records and assist with evaluations as needed.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student development.

Contribute to the schools mission of fostering communication and confidence in every learner.
Qualifications

Active or pending California SLPA license.

Associate or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences or Speech-Language Pathology.

Prior school-based experience preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
